Invisibility! Immortality! Regeneration! Super-strength! Many animals possess extraordinary abilities and have oddball characteristics. In this talk, Dr. Rachel Roberts-Galbraith will help us learn about some of the strangest and most interesting superheroes of the animal kingdom. We'll also learn how scientists (like her) are studying extraordinary animals to understand biology relevant to human health, medicine, and agriculture.
Join DA Avni as we explore the world of Korede whose sister may be a serial Killer. This will be part of multiple meetings set up throughout the semester. You must attend 3 out of the 5 meetings to get your 10 academic points! In this meeting, we will cover part 3 of the reading. Hope you can join us!
How much do you know about the ancient Greek language? Perhaps you would like to join us on a journey into the past and learn about how we can use technology to learn older languages. Join us in the Rutherford Library as we enjoy a documentary celebrating a landmark win for Latinx students in LA schools. The students protested and fought for their right to a fair education. The documentary will be an hour long, and there will be a small discussion section afterward, with snacks provided. This event will be worth 10 academic points!

In celebration of women's history month, we'll learn how female theatrical performers in NYC used their wartime work to not only support the war effort but to demonstrate to New Yorkers – and the rest of the country – that women wanted to, and were capable of, exercising the vote.…
