Keira Hallauer

FRC Service Chair
My name is Keira Hallauer, and I'm originally from Watkinsville, GA, a small town about 15 minutes away from Athens. Last year, I began dual enrolling at UGA during my senior year of high school, and I have loved getting to know this beautiful campus. I'm a History major with a Japanese Language and Literature minor, and I'm planning on receiving the Asian Studies Certificate. I love to talk about anything related to East Asian history and can go on pretty extensive rants on my grandma's family history.

This semester, I have also enjoyed getting to know the honors community via classes and clubs at UGA through being a part of the Morehead Honors College. Some of the extracurriculars I committed to this semester include the Japanese Conversation Club, the Global Affairs/History Honors book club, the APIDA Political Alliance, the Asian American Student Association, and I plan on joining more interesting organizations next semester!

Lastly, I am proud to be a member of the Franklin Residential College here at Rutherford Hall, and this semester I was honored to be elected as the service chair. I look forward to working with the organization and its fantastic members to better serve the community and foster a sense of unity!
