On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, FRC members were able to visit the Office of Sustainability's Green Roof Garden on the rooftop of the Geography-Geology Building for an amazing service event.

This week FRC members got to attend an amazing dance performance as a part of the university's Spotlight on the Arts! Two of our FRC residents, Audrey Snow & Devyn Hannon, performed in the Senior Exit & Emerging Choreographers Concert with the UGA Department of Dance.

On Nov. 1-3, FRC's trip to the UGA Marine Institute on Sapelo encompassed all that we do: learning about research on the Georgia estuary; a service learning project planting sugar cane in the historic community of Hog Hammock; and a bonfire under the stars on the beach. Many thanks to Dr.

Saturday, October 26th, 2019, FRC members traveled to Sweet Olive Farm to engage in some rewarding volunteering. Sweet Olive Farm is a animal sanctuary 8 miles off campus that provides a forever home for several exotic animals.

Friday, October 27th, FRC members gathered on Myers Quad for an awesome talk by Dr. Scott Shaw on the astronomy department on campus. Members had the opportunity to ask Dr. Shaw a variety of thought-provoking questions about our universe in the Q&A style talk.
